1. Do I need to sign up for an account to send money through BFC online portal?
Yes, to send money through BFC online portal, you need to first join us by registering on our website
2. Do I need to pay any fees to sign up for a BFC online portal account?
No, Registering with our website is absolutely FREE.
3. How long will it take to complete the enrolment?
It takes around 5-10 minutes to complete the registration in most cases. Once you complete your registration online it may up to 24-48 working hours for your details to be verified electronically. In case you do not hear from us within 48 working hours you may feel free to write to us at customerservices@bfc.com.bh from your registered email id. Should you wish to complete your KYC by visiting any BFC retail outlet your registration can be completed immediately once you provide the necessary documents
4. How can I do registration through BFC online portal website?
You will have to first register yourself by giving your name, address and identity document details in the registration page and complete the online KYC. (Should you wish to visit a BFC retail outlet to complete the Know Your Customer process, this is possible as well). We will do the verification of the data given by you and if we are able to verify the details given, we will register you. An email will be sent to the address given by you. Activate the link sent to your email and then you are ready to transact. If we are unable to verify your details with the information provided by you initially, we will ask for additional information and make another attempt to verify your details electronically. If you are not successful in this attempt too, we will ask for sending copies of your ID, address proof and any additional documents, if required, and will attempt a manual check of the details given. If successful, you will get an email confirmation from us and then you are ready to transact
5. Why was my registration not successful?
It is likely that some of your details are not updated or not included at all in the verifier's database, which could lead to failure of verification.
6. Do I have to wait to start using the service once I enrol?
No, there is no waiting time. Once you complete the registration process, you can immediately begin using the service.

1. What is BFC online portal money transfer?
BFC online portal is an online remittance service offered by BFC. BFC online portal ensures fast, safe and secure money transfers to over 50 countries in the world. Customers can use the service from the comfort of their home, office or while travelling using a computer, tablet or mobile phone.
2. What are the types of money transfer that can be done on BFC online portal?
We offer
Bank Transfers - your beneficiary's bank account, will be credited within 2 working days or earlier.
Cash Payout - your beneficiary will have to go and collect the transferred amount from a payout location.
Bill payments - You can pay various bills such as rent, school and university fee and international bills in your home country
3. Are there any differences between these three types of money transfers?
Other than what is mentioned above, the fees, exchange rates and transaction amount limits may differ for these three types of transfers. In the case of bank transfers the transaction is complete when the remitted/transferred amount gets credited to the beneficiary's bank account. For cash payout the transaction will be complete only when the beneficiary collects the amount from a payout location. While bank transfers may take between one to two working days to get credited, a cash transfer is often ready for pick up within 10 minutes or less after doing the transaction. There could be instances where the transaction does not get cleared automatically through our compliance checks and require additional information, in which there would be slight delays based on the service and country.
4. Which currencies can you use to make a Money Transfer?
You can make payments only in Bahraini Dinars
5. How can I make payments to BFC online portal?
Payments can be made online using a Debit card via the online payment gateway, the Debit Card has to be issued in Bahrain, no Foreign Debit cards are allowed at the moment.
6. Who can you send money to, using BFC online portal?
You can only send money to your own account or to a family/friend's account.
7. How do I add a Beneficiary?
After logging into your BFC online portal account, click on the My Beneficiaries tab. Enter the required details of the new beneficiary here and save them. Each beneficiary addition will have to be authenticated via an OTP sent to your registered mobile or email id
8. Why should you remit using BFC online portal?
BFC online portal remittance service enables you to transfer money fast, safe and securely from the comfort of your home, office or even while travelling. BFC online portal is one of the most competitive and safest modes of money transfer available in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
9. Are BFC Online portal's remittance services safe?
BFC online portal remittance service does not share any personal information provided by you with any third party (unless we are required to do so by law). We also maintain our systems to high-level security standards, which is frequently tested and audited.
10. What is the BFC online portal Transaction Number?
The BFC online portal Transaction Number or is the unique number displayed on your screen at the time of booking your remittance. It is reference number for your transaction. You can know the status of your transfer by simply clicking on your Transaction Number on our Online Status Tracker. When you are sending an email enquiry about your money transfer, you always need to quote your Transaction Number.
11. Is there a limit on the number of beneficiaries that you can transfer money to?
No. You can send money to as many people as you wish. BFC online portal has an Address Book tool in which you can store your beneficiary details.
12. Can you send money to an NRE/NRO account (For transfers to India) through BFC online portal?
Yes. You can send money to any NRE\NRO account in India. These funds will be directly credited into this account.
13. Do you or your beneficiary need to open any special bank account?
No. You can continue using your existing bank account for the money transfer.
1. What are the options available to my beneficiaries?
Your beneficiary can either collect cash subject to certain monetary limits, which vary from country to country, or receive the amount directly into their bank account.
2. What is the KYC (Know your customer) process for BFC online portal?
When you do a transaction with BFC online portal for the first time an electronic KYC verification will be done, and if required one would have to furnish a scanned valid photo id and address proof. The KYC can also be completed by visiting any BFC retail outlet located across the Kingdom of Bahrain

1. How do I unlock my account?

6. How do I change my BFC online portal password?
After logging into your BFC online portal account, click on the Change Password link in the My Profile section of the menu, on the left-hand side of the page. Make the required changes and save it.
7. What if I forget my BFC online portal password?
You need to click on the Forgot Password link in the login box on the home page. Enter the requested details and you will receive an email with a new password. Use this password to log in again. When you access your account, change the password according to your preference.
8. I want to block my account as I believe that my password has been leaked.
We advise you to frequently change your password and maintain total secrecy about your login details to prevent fraudulent misuse of your BFC online portal account. The exchange rate applicable on your remittance is the exchange rate that was displayed when the transaction was executed.
2. How can I view the Exchange Rate for the day?
You can view the exchange rate for the day by using the online exchange rate calculator on our website. Click here for today's exchange rates.
3. How can I cancel my transaction?
Almost all bank account transfers occur instantly and processed within minutes of confirming the transaction. It may not be possible to cancel a bank account transfer once processed. However, you can contact out customer support team if you reasonably think the transaction should be cancelled and our team will do best possible to assist you. For cash pick up transactions, you can cancel the transaction by contacting our customer support team Or visit BFC any branch along with your CPR and transaction receipt.
